Hello all,

I'm new here and have a question. I saw my RE two weeks ago and he said that instead of using Clomid for ovulation he wanted me to try Letrazol(e). That it's had a better success rate then clomid in some women with PCO and doesn't have quite the side effects. Has anyone else heard this or is taking this drug?

I ovulated on low dose Clomid but my follicles didn't always grow as big as we had hoped.

I took it and got pregnant my second cycle. It was great.

If you go and fill it becareful of the information sheet you will get. Femera is a breast cancer drug so do not freak out like I did!

That's wonderful, congratulations to you all! My RE did tell me that it was used for treatment in breast cancer and that freaked me out because I was worried about after affects on the baby should I get pregnant but he said it actually leaves your body quicker then Clomid.

Did you have any side effects at all? Take any other things with it like Robitussin, herbs? RE said that I did respond with Clomid but Femara should have better results.

Thank you so much for responding, was worried that this was maybe the wrong drug.
