femara not working, have ?

I posted this in infertility board and got no response. I didn't know how to move it, so I am just posting again here. Thanks for any help!

This could be long. I have taken femara for the past 3 or 4 cycles. Last cycle had a good response with a dominant follicle and had borderline lining issues. I had the hcg trigger and 2 estradiol shots for the lining. I have done the same things this cycle but when I went today my u/s showed several follicles on both sides but only at around 8 or 9. My lining was a 3. Now...here's where my questions come in. I also take metformin, zantac and carafate. Last cycle I took my morning dose of zantac and the femara together due to timing issues before going to work. Now that I am off work I dont have to take them at certain times. So this cycle I took the femara at 6am alone and about an hour later took the zantac then an hour later took the carafate. I thought taking it on an empty stomach of all medicines would be better. Have I messed myself up by not taking with the zantac? I am so upset to not know what is going on that my body is not working. Can anyone help? I am going to call my pharmacist tomorrow morning but would like some help if possible.

I go back on Monday for another u/s and hopefully a trigger shot.
