Default Fertility Blend (Vitex) + Provera?

Hi ladies!

DH and I have been off all fertility meds since last December. I don't get periods on my own. I started taking Fertility Blend on May 1st, mostly with the hope that it would bring my periods back. So far nothing, although it does feel like it's doing SOMETHING. I just can't put my finger on what, exactly.

Anyway, I have a bottle of Provera here that I could use to at least give myself a period, for health reasons. Anyone know if it would hurt to be on Fertility Blend and Provera at the same time?

(Ask the doc, I know. I have my annual next week. I'm just hesitant to tell her about the Fertility Blend because she's always been a non-believer in any sort of alternative therapies whatsoever. She's an older, grumpy woman, and I really don't even like her. I just got stuck with her two years ago because she was the only one that did infertility treatments. When we abandoned that, I was going to go back to my old doc, but he retired. Grr. Going to find a new one, just want to get this annual done so I don't have to rush.)

Any advice would be great!

IMHO, it won't hurt to take both. Since it has been so long since your last period, I would go ahead and start the Provera. But after you have one period, I would wait for a bit to see if the Fertility Blend (Vitex) is going to work. It is kind of a slow process, but it will eventually lead to an overall hormone balance. I have been taking Vitex for 3 months and it is just now starting to work.
