Question Fetal Dopplers?

For those who have or are using fetal dopplers, what brand do you feel actually works? I have heard many say that they can't find a heartbeat with certain ones so I want to know your opinion on the best kind to buy.

I also would like to know if you truly think they work and are worth getting. As of right now, I'm only 12 weeks (tomorrow) and I don't want to purchase anything until my next appt which is Tuesday to make sure things are going good. I just need some insight on what to get. Thanks for any advice or feedback.

I find it fab! Im a fluffy cyster (almost 300lbs) and I was able to use it straight away. Granted, it would take a lot of moving around because I was still early, but now I can find her straight away and even heard her hiccups yday!! I didnt buy the gel for it though, I just use moisturiser and it works great. It also comes with a cable to hook to your computer to record on there, so me and DH are doing that soon to keep as a momento. It only cost €25 as well, so we bought it thinking "if it works, great, if it doesnt at least it didnt cost a lot". A friend of mine bought one that records the heartrate for over $100 and hasnt been able to find her babys heart at all.

I used ours on a preg friend of mine and we picked up her baby too. Good luck on your search!

I use Hi-Bebe by Bistos it is fab found h/b straight away at 10w I got mine from E-bay it was £50 so not that expensive you can also record babys heartbeat and it displays the heart rate.
