Default A few much less guilty sweet drink concotions I have created.

I'm obsessed with Chai tea frappuccinos from Starbucks, as well as the Green tea ones...but I always feel sick after wards from the sugar and creme overload. So I came up with my own make shift version.

3 Chai tea bags
1 cup hot water
Steep tea bags for about 5 minutes or so (Sort of makes a Chai concentrate)
Let the concentrate cool, then pour it in a blender.
Fill the rest of the blender with ice, and then pour milk (I've tried 2% organic, and vanilla soy, both work great, however I prefer the 2% because it makes a frothy foam with a consistency similar to whipped cream.)
Add sweetener to taste if preferred. ( I usually use half Splenda/half Clover honey)
Then blend to your hearts content, pour into a glass, and enjoy.

This recipe was enough for one "Venti" glass, and I didn't feel guilty at all for drinking the whole thing.

Another one I'm addicted to...Floats.

I pour about two thirds diet soda to one third milk add a capful of vanilla extract, stir, and enjoy.
(Oh! Make sure to pour the soda first, then milk. Otherwise you end up with a big bubbly mess all over the kitchen counter.)

I love you for posting this!!! I was hooked on Green tea fraps from Starbucks. Now I'm having a hard time staying away since I know they have the pumpkin spice flavor. I'll have to play around and see what I can come up with.

I've used the new via packets with soy, ice, and vanilla beans to get a pretty good vanilla bean frap. with a coffee base. It's yummy!

LOL! Awesome!!! When I'm at Starbucks, I order a Grande Raspberry Green Tea Frappaccino without the whip cream and with only 1 pump of raspberry syrup. One pump is equal to 30 calories and the whip cream that they put on is about 5 or 6 grams of fat which usually equals out to like 100 calories.

I will definitely try your recipe! It sounds fabulous!
