Cant we even debate a topic without people taking stuff personally?? Yes, by all means, add in your personal experiences but nobody can dispute hard core facts.
To be honest I like a good debate and I hate all the fluffiness and hugs on this board. They are rarely (imo) heartfelt. Of course it is good to provide support to each other but are we not allowed to discuss and debate other stuff too??
And just because you dont agree with someone's opinion, dosnt make them a bad person. You wouldnt act like that in real life would you?

I for one really feel like a couple of people here like to antagonize others . I will not go into it anymore but it is definately NOT the first time.
As for 'fluffiness and hugs'. Anyone that thinks that, please remember quite a few of us have been here for a long time and do know each other quite well whether it be from just chatting on here over the years, from our meetups or chatting on Facebook, MSN etc.,

So long as people don't get scared into not having opinions as that's something I thought we'd always managed well here - debate without argument. Thanks to Eva for keeping her cool and keeping the atmosphere in here generally laid back. Problem with these situations is, you can just ignore the troublemakers and not get drawn in - but then risk them getting worse and worse. Or you can stand up to them and risk being seeing as equally daft. I got no clue which policy is best and I probably chose the wrong one!
Owlie I know what you mean, and for me certain threads/forums are about support and in others it's not relevant and again, that's a judgement call anyone can get wrong! We all have this awful condition in common so take some empathy as read, but I for one enjoy a discussion. Now who's going to nudge me next time I'm tempted to rise to the bait?
P.S: Owlie you must be a little bit fluffy, or you wouldn't have chosen such a cute name.

Who said my comment “Certain people can shove this where the sun don’t shine!” was aimed at you…. Not my problem if you take offence to it, if I’d attached your name to it then fair enough but I didn't see your name on it.
Actually my postman is overweight, I am guessing around 16 stone, would you like me to take a picture of him for you, he’s a lovely guy! – just another one of your many assumptions.
It’s not the first time your posts have offended people and I sense it won’t be the last. If you find it boring then why are you continuing replying and posting!
God help you if your kids ever get fat or put on weight, how on earth would you handle that, my guess is you would disown them!
Personally I have sod all to apologise for, if you don’t like it the tough!
whoah what have i missed?
Hope u all are alright!
