Default Fibromyalgia or WHAT?!!?

Just wondering here.....how many of you suffer from generalized body aches/pains?

I have noticed off and on and more ON lately that I hurt and have sore muscles all the time!

My chest muscles have been sore for at least 2 wks now (went and had a stress test done today because of this) I even notice that sometimes my arm(s) hurt and I am VERY sore in the mornings. Well the doctor ran a bunch of test which checked for Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis etc, but they all came back negative. I don't have the results from my stress test yet (won't have them until probably Monday or so) but I REALLY don't think it's cardiac related (course I could be wrong!)

Just wondering if anyone else notices this. I have tender spots (which goes along with the Fibromyalgia) this is driving me NUTS! I am 30 yrs old and too young to be falling apart.....I feel 80!

I have fibromyalgia as well. I'm only 31 now, but I've had symptoms since the age of 9. I was just "formally" diagnosed a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, I went to a succession of doctors who told me it was all in my head. When I finally went to a rheumatologist, I got a proper diagnosis and treatment. Currently, I am on a very low dose of muscle relaxers that I take at night (Zanaflex 2mg). Basically, this puts me into a sound sleep, and I wake up feeling very rested. After a couple of weeks of taking this, I noticed a huge difference in my pain level. At this point, I feel 90% better than I did before the medication.

Have you had your HGH (human growth hormone) levels checked? Low HGH levels can highly mimic the symptoms of PCOS. I also read recently that people with low HGH levels frequently have problems with fibromyalgia. My HGH levels are low, but not low enough to warrant treatment at this time.

My Mom was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. She discovered that the foods that she ate reflected how she felt. It's now believed by some doctors that alot of immune disorders, like Fibromyalgia, are caused by a "leaky gut", where your intestine are more porous and larger microscopic protein particles are escaping into the body and your body sees them as invaders and has an allergic response the them. A great web site if you're interested in learning more about it is:

Hopefully this will help you.
