We are going to MO on Friday to finalize our adoption with Luke! They are serving the birthfather with abandonment papers today. After talking to our lawyer we are very confident that this is it!! He said that our judge will not allow the birthfather rights after today because he has had 60 days to do something and he done nothing! We are going to get Luke at the agency and then off to the hotel to wait for the ICPC to go through so we can bring him home! DH is going to stay until Mon and then he is going to drive home so he can work and my mother is going to bring DD down on Tues to stay until we get the green light to leave! I can't believe that this is happening! There has been so many ups and downs that I am a little nervous! I can't wait until Fri night when we have him in our hands! I have been imagining what it is going to be like but I know I'm not even close!
We are praying to be home on 4/27 but it could be the next week. I will post again when we get home!
