Well Im finally able to post here since after seeing an awesome RE on friday. We sat and talked for an hour, and he explained everything about PCOS using words/sentences that we could all understand, and he looked at my blood tests and said you have Hyperinsulinemia (hope that spelled right) and he put me on the met!!!! I was so happy, I have been trying to get my primary md, my obgyn to put me on this because I knew that b/c/p's werent gonna help. So Im on 500 mg daily,for 1wk, then each week ill increase, until I reach 1500mg daily.Im also still taking the yasmen b/c/p.
But the office I went to is the PCOS Center of new jersey, and the IVF of NJ, and they have the highest success rate on the East Coast for pregnancy, so Im feeling as if Im in the right hands of care now!
He told me before I left his office he would have me be reassured that I will be able to have my own children someday, and I honestly can say I was very convinced!So hopefully in 2 yrs when we try it will happen! well I was just so excited that I had to share with everyone!
