Since being diagnosed with PCOS in the last 3 weeks I've been reading loads of bits on the internet about it. Most of the sites I visited gave me the standard symptoms and what to expect etc. I'm so glad I found this site tho, as after reading some threads and posts I've found so many answers to alot of things (health wise) that have been going on with me for the last however many years. I used to think I was a bit of a hypochondriac but now I realise that it has been PCOS related. I had spouts of dizziness last year (and I've had this on and off for the last few years) that the doc never did diagnose the reason for this. I thought the dark patches of skin and skin tags where because I was overweight. And altho I'm embaressed to admit it I also have boils/blackheads on my thighs which I also thought was due to being overweight.
So I'm finding it very helpful to read everyones symptoms and now understand that I'm not alone with this - nor am I a hypochondriac!

I'm new around here also. It's great! So much information, keeps you from feeling like you're crazy! I know what you mean about feeling like a hypochondriac, I've felt that way for such a long time. I always used to go to Dr. and only mention about half my symptoms if that, cause I figured they would think I was making it up, or just imagining it all.
