Hi ladies! I haven't posted a lot lately, I've been going through all my testing with the RE. As you can see from my siggy, my last 2 pregnancies ended in MC. My OB/GYN thought it was just bad luck and recommended I try again. I'm so glad I followed my intincts and made an appointment with an RE instead of listening to him. After going through all my testing with the RE, I met with him and he went over my results. Apparently all my testing came out fine except that my progesterone was a little low so he wants to supplement that, and he was concerned because my uterus appeared oddly shaped in the HSG scan. He suspected I had uterine fibroids and recommended hystersocopy surgery to go in and examine further and remove any fibroids. I had the surgery a week and a half ago and met with him yesterday to go over the results of the surgery. Turns out I was a mess in there! Its no wonder my pregancies were ending in MC! He removed stage 2 endometriosis (I had no idea I had that too), uterine scar tissue, uterine fibroids, and a large ovarian cyst. He said I am now good and ready to resume TTC next cycle! I'm so glad I got some answers and am cautiously optimistic that things will go better next time. So to all you ladies going through this, follow your intincts even if your doctor doesn't seem worried! Good luck to everyone!
Stacy - so sorry you had to go through all of that, but how great to finally have some answers! I agree that we need to trust our gut no matter what the doctors tell us. Good luck!!!
