Hi everyone,

I am not technically a newbie. I was active on the Soul Cysters forum about four years ago, but I hadn't been officially diagnosed, because I didn't have insurance. So without going into the gory details, and the LONG journey it took me to get to this point, I am happy to say that today I was FINALLY OFFICIALLY diagnosed. When the doctor told me I broke down and started crying. She thought I was sad...I said..."no I am so happy, to finally have an answer." For a long time I suspected it and finally said, if this is the case, and I have PCOS, I need to do something about it NOW. I am SO relieved to finally have an answer. It has been such a long and painful road getting to this point, but now I have an answer, and a direction to go in to finally get back to being normal. I am so happy I am beside myself. For the first time in a LONG time I have hope. And this time I get to enjoy the lovely side effects of Metformin with the rest of my cysters! Yay! And yes, they are the size of a horses butt!

Hi congrats on being diagnosed it makes it easier doesnt it? Like you feel like you can work out a plan for it all
