I was prescribed Finastaride 5mg by my endo today though my hair loss is improving on flaxseed oil 1000mg and green tea extract 300mg.. the shedding isn't as bad. no more handfulls (knock on wood)
I am scared of starting finastaride... i did a bit of research and according to
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/d...di/202649.html Finastaride/Propecia and procar are all the same.. thing is.. side effects show that hair loss will start again within a year off the meds and I don't want to go through this again because i've been put on some other medication.
I honestly don't know what to do.. and I am also afraid that I will find major decrease in libido. last thing i need is that.. its already low as it is...
could you please tell me your findings and experiences concerning this drug? am I better off staying on spiro along with the supplements mentioned above?
i'm desperate for advice.. it feels like i'm living in hell and whatever i do furthers my journey in there instead of going through the door and finding peace of mind.
finastaride/Propecia/procar all the same?
