"Finding Favor With The King" is a TV series on TBN. "One Night With The King" is the movie which will be released this fall. Both are based on the book by Tommy Tenney.

TBN showed clips of it and it looks outstanding! I don't usually watch Tommy Tenney, stick wit T.D.Jakes, Joyce Meyer, among a few, thanks Shiprah, this is going to be good.
Oh I love this book...I love the idea that we approach God like Esther did the King..."entire his palace with thanksgiving in our hearts...and enter his courts with praise...then enter the inner sanctuary of God and there reveal your deapest heart...which he allready knows..." I wrote in to TBN to order, but haven't gotten it yet, just noticed I posted this on the 11th----of April!
Hmmm, wonder why I haven't gotten it yet. I can buy it in a bookstore here in town if TBN doesn't come through. I'm dying to read it. Tommy Tenney said to "write in to TBN and we'll send you a copy as a gift", but haven't gotten anything yet...
I just saw you were asking if anyone had read the book about the story of Esther... I have read a book w/ the title "Esther" (also one about Ruth)... I'm not sure if it's the same one you're asking about... I don't remember who the author is (it's packed up since we've moved). It was really good though. I'm not sure where you live or if there'd be something like this in your area... In Ronks, PA, there is a theatre (Sight & Sound) that puts on various live Biblical plays. I just started Finding Favor with the King yesterday. Wow! What a powerful story. I'm going to try to finish it this weekend - it REALLY makes you think!

I've always been fascinated with Esther & Ruth. I'll have to add these books to my reading list. I hate the fact that I keep missing the TBN movies. I usually tune it after the movie has begun. The tv listings never mention the movie names on the Christian stations. I checked out the website www.bibleonstage.com. Wow, I must visit these place. I wonder if there are other venues like that across the country and where....

Re: TBN movies, I saw St Francsis of Assissi(sp) a couple of weeks ago...it was an OLD movie but it was SOOOOOO good!!!
