Default Finisteride

Is anyone else taking this medication? I've been on it for about 6 months now and I've noticed a great slow and thinning in my hair growth on my neck, chest, legs, arms and face. I think that my weight loss has helped the most but I wondered if anyone else was on this medication (that is usually for men with prostate cancer only)

Thanks for reading everyone

Bump...my doc won't prescribe (USA) but I've got bad male hairloss and am always looking for people's experiences with it.

Never wrestle with a pig. You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

Default Success with Proscar

I've used Proscar for cystic acne and mild hirsutism and had great results. Now, my new insurance company doesn't want to cover it. Did you get coverage for it? Can you tell me about that? My insurance company will consider other cases where coverage has been granted. Further, you talk about "generic" Finasteride. I didn't think that was available yet--what is it called?

Thanks!
