AF arrived today (on her own) on CD36 after m/c.
Today has been extremely heavy flow (TMI-sorry).
I was wondering if anybody here had changes in their cycle after their m/c?
Should I expect it to be heavy for a few days?
Af is usually light to medium for 4 days, then one day of spotting.

It took 30 days for my cycle to return, and when it came it was really crampy. It wasn't much heavier. The next cycle is due on the first... unless a miracle happed upon my ovulation day, and it takes a 9 month vacation!
Best of luck with yours, sorry again for your loss. ***HUGS***

I am now on CD2. I have not been very crampy. But the flow is extremely heavy & alittle clumpy. (sorry-TMI) Should I be concerned about the clumpiness (clots)? Should I call my dr?

I would call him/her just to make sure that there ins't a problem. I don't recall any clotting what so ever... It might be normal, but it wouldn't hurt just to give the Dr. a call.
Hang in there!

When I had my m/c I swear I bled for a month. The same thing after I had my son. Then my first period after was just horrible. Like a super plus every two hrs (TMI). I was tempted to sleep on one of those little blue pads they put under you at the hospital. Kinda like the puppy training sheet...

SAHM - My af was different the first time after my m/c, but I had a d&c, so not sure how much that affects it.
From my understanding, your first af is your body "resetting" itself. I agree with the other ladies, though, it's probably worth calling your dr just to check and make sure.
God bless

Thanking God that one day in heaven I will meet my dear, cherished little one who died in the womb, February 2004.
I did call my dr. She didn't seem concerned. She did tell me that if I had HUGE amounts of clotting & extreme heavy flow to call right away. Once I called the dr office-the clots completely stopped. LOL I should've called her sooner!
