First AF after m/c... she won't leave! Hey girls, just wanted to vent here. I had a miscarriage in october at 6 weeks. I had a D&C and bled for about a week after. I had a follow up appointment with my RE about 4 weeks later. We decided that it was time to go ahead with more high tech options but not without a few months break first. He gave me three months worth of birth control to keep things in check before injections. I decided to wait and see if AF would come on her own first. Well come december, no AF in sight so I went ahead and started birth control. I started cramping and spotting the last week of pills and AF started immediately after the last pill. This was January 7 and she still hasn't left! It is still very heavy and clotty. I called my RE yesterday and he prescribed 3 birth control pills a day for 3 days, 2 a day for 7 days then 1 a day for 21 days. He said that it sounds like my lining is not healing properly. If the bleeding doesn't stop by tomorrow, I have to call him and he'll add ovral (sp?) He is trying to avoid a D&C. I had three of them the past 4 years =(, 2 of them due to miscarriages and 1 case of excessive bleeding for 6 weeks. I am starting to feel very tired which he said is normal and I'm anemic on top of that.
I was wondering if this excessive bleeding could be due to blod clotting issues? Could this be why I had 2 miscarriages? Just trying to understand why I bleed so much *sigh* This is the first time this has happened while on birth control. My heavy periods are usually after not taking anything for months.

ETA: I won't be able to start injections until summer now because of this =( and we missed the deadline to have all the tests done and fees paid. I didn't want to pay the admin fee because it is only good for a year and I will only pay it once my treatment has started.
