The NHS have been rubbish for me [and you by the sounds of it] the whole way through. Im sorry. Try harrasing them for the actual results. It worked for me xxx

Maybe go see your GP, they should have a copy of your DH test results I think (the GP had to refer you to the consultant right?)
Sock it to em, don't focus on losing loads of weight, just extra BD'ing will help and make you feel good, if you lose a few pounds, thats a bonus!
Chin up, you will get through it x

If you go to the sharing button on FF then the home page setup from there, there will be a web address. If you copy and paste, we might be able to see it. I don't remember if this is how I added mine to my signature, but it's worth a try.
I'm starting to feel a bit better about the whole thing. But I have to admit, I'm still angry. I wish I had continuity of service and I was able to see the same doctor that I saw the first time at the clinic. Then he would know the specifics of my case and the fact that he said they would increase the dosage of clomid instead of seeing a woman who snarled at me when I showed her my temping charts (like it was some new fandangled witchcraft) and telling me that it is impossible to have a luteal phase that wasn't 14 days. She was horrible. I wish I knew her name so I could warn everyone else from seeing her.

14 Day LP?? What planet was your Dr on??? How you never slapped her I will never know.. ( Maybe the thought of being arrested stoppee you )
Your right though, the NHS can be very inconsistent at times. The appoinment I had when I was prescribed Clomid was the one time I wasn't expecting any help at all, just sent home to lose weight... Mad isn't it, I walked out of the clmic feeling on top of the world.
Looks like it's not done the trick for us though. 4th cycle was a bust, CD1 for me today. Got my next appointment on 16th June so will wait and see where I go form here... Probably nowhere fast!!! lol
I do have another 2 months of 50mg so might take it, might not.
Catch up with you all soon.
Wendy x

I finally sussed out how to get my charts on my message footer....they seem out of sequence but heh ho...one 'technical ' step at a time!
Day 8, feeling rough so far, taking Clomid this cycle has given me terrible headaches, shorter period this cycle though.

I'm blech. AF is round the corner. Another RE appointment in a couple weeks. Hating Xenical!
But hey... the weather was really nice today, and should be tomorrow too. :-)

Points: 8,147.18 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 8,147.18 | Had a miserable RE appointment. So not only am I dealing with an RE that won't give me clomid because of my weight, I'm also dealing with male factor infertility and they won't put me on the waiting list for IVF (which is our only option) until I lose 40lbs.
REALLY rubbish! And I'm still hating the Xenical.

REALLY rubbish! And I'm still hating the Xenical. | Hi Canada, long time no speak? Sorry, I got distracted by other FF chats and until today my last cycle looked promising..the AF arrived :-(
Sorry about your news, why can't they tell you all this at your first appointment, then you could take your time.....not heard of Xenical is this to help lose weight?

Points: 8,147.18 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 8,147.18 | Sian, yes, I was on clomid for a cycle, but the RE who saw me the first time wasn't the same one I went to on the second and third time. Number 1 RE was lovely and gave it to me, number 2 RE said she wasn't allowed to prescribe it if I was overweight and that they are really 'cracking down on it now'.
Congrats on restarting the clomid today!
Mikka, yes, xenical is for weight loss. It's a miserable med and means your body only absorbs 2/3s of the fat you eat. The remainder goes through your system undigested, and let me tell you, it makes Met seem like a joy in regards to 'intestinal issues'. Truly horrid stuff! I hate it, hate it, hate it!
Sorry to hear that AF showed up.
Good luck with your upcoming cycles ladies!
