Sian (and anyone else who can contribute),

Do you take your clomid days 2-6 as well? Did you have a regular cycle, or ovulate prior to being on clomid?

Thanks, just wanting to gather as much info as possible before I start taking it.

hi,

yep i take mine cd 2 -6 aswell. when im on metformin i tend to have 35 day cycles aswell but i wasnt O'in at all on it.

Hi O Cananda,

From reading on some of the other message boards 2 - 6 is for more follicles = more targets for the spermies and later days eg; 5 to 9 = A more mature follies. Remember with PCOS we can have lots of immature follies.
Anyway thats what I have read.

I am supposed to take my next round of Clomid 2 to 6 but IM holding off till ay 5. Just to se what happens, got nothing to lose, I think I O'd on CD22 this month so a few days later either way won't make much difference.

I wish I could have had a blood test, the follicle tracking was good but It didn't actually confirm O. I think my mind would be more eased if I knew for deffinate the 50mg was high enough for me. But I just don't think it is.

I'll let you know how things get on once AF decides to show. Waiting around is a pain in the butt. That said, my hubbie's going to be away for the first three weeks of March, so the longer AF holds off the better.

My RE has also asked for bloods on days 21 and 24 (because my cycles are really wonky - despite 1700mg of met.) I assume that will check for O. Do you know if it confirms that there was O (in the past fwe days), or if there will be O shortly?

I'm hoping that I O late so that I can still catch it when DH gets home. I don't want the cycle to be bust simply because I couldn't BD.

Thanks for that. I doubt I will have any more cycle monitering scans so will go and see GP after I O and ask for a blood test, might even go before and get the slip and go once I know I am 7PO.

I chickened out of holding off till day 5 to start next round, I started today which is day 3 and I'm taking 100mg.. Ssshhhh Don't tell...

I hope that everything is going well. Even though I've not started Clomid yet, I'm getting anxious about my first cycle. I'm trying my best not to get my hopes up, but I'm finding it hard.

Sian, that sounds like a great number, I hope that this is it for you!

I start my first round of Clomid tomorrow. I'm kind of anxious to be honest. I've started temping in the morning so I can get an idea about whether or not I O even before the bloods come back. I just wish I was 'normal' and could ovulate on my own without all this fussing about.

Still a bit PMS-y it seems.

Hi girls thought it was time to join in. I am on my first round of clomid and I think I ovulated tuesday so I am in the 2ww!

I would def recommend temping to understand exactly whats going on and also takes the pressure off continually bding!

So on cd13 I had a 19mm follicle. On cd15 I had huge pains in my ovary and my temperature went up this morning. (plus I had ewcm). So I'm hoping this is all pointing toward ovulation!

The only problem is that the follicle was on my bad side, as I only have one tube. However I have been told it is possible for the egg to swap sides, though I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm just glad I ovulated.

Phew that was a lot of info!
I have a blood test next monday!!Good luck everyone!!

Good luck with the test Monday.

The O signs really seems to be there (even if it doesn't lead to pregnancy this month, it's great to know that you are ovulating at least)!

I've just started temping as well, so hopefully I'll see some good signs this month.
