Thanks again Wendy!

Temp this morning was 36.6, and FF says I'm not likely fertile anymore. Don't know if they figure it's because I ovulated or because they've given up on me. I'm hoping I'm a slow riser, but to be honest, I don't think 50mg Clomid's worked.

Either way, I'll be able to go back to the RE in May and they'll be able to see how things have been going.

Red face

Cananda,

If you can get another BD in just in case, it won't hurt.
I hope you see another temp rise today.

As for me, I think I will be very soon out of the running this cycle.

I have been having mild AF type cramps on and off since Saturday but today when I woke up they were quite strong, this is normal for me and I know AF will probably arrive by tomorrow or Wednesday. I'm not going to even bother wasting a cheapie IC PG Test!!!

Very disapointed, I know its not over yet but you can't help but hope.

I was out visiting yesterday and met up with some friends. They are a few years older than me but one has just become a Grandama ( her daughter is 20) and the other one her daughter (24) is PG and due in April. Whilst happy for them it just made me so sad, I feel ancient at 37 and feel like time is just running out for us.

I have 4 more cycles of clomid, might do one more and if that doesn't work I am going to save the other three and try and concentrate on losing some weight as I am very overweight and I know deep down this is hindering our chances. Plus on a brighter note I am getting married nex year and want to lose some weight before our wedding so to me it fels the time is right.

Anyway sorry to be all doom and gloom, enjoy the bank holiday today. I think I will be ironing and watching TV all day!!!!

Aww Wendy,

Great big hugs to you! I'm so sorry that you aren't feeling great today. I know how frustrating it is when the people around you are falling pregnant and you aren't. Don't discount yourself just because of age. You have time left, and if you are just now trying Clomid there are still lots of options for you.

I think that you have the right idea though. Losing weight is not only healthier for us, but also for any potential pregnancy that comes along. I have a lot to lose, and find it difficult to keep up the motivation, but ultimately, I know it will be better for conception if I continue. (It's expecially difficult when my friend emails me about her two children - who she fell preganant with on the first try- and how she's managed to pawn them off on their grandmother for an evening so she can go on a 18km run in the morning. Not that I don't love to hear about them and how they're doing, it's just difficult).

I hope that you can have a restful Bank Holiday. Anything good on TV?

Hi Ladies,

I'm quite excited. FF says that I ovulated! I never ovulate!

Hopefully clomid's had the right effect and it's not entirely useless.

Quick question. Could the O be too 'weak' to result in pregnancy? Is it still possible that I would need a higher dose? I don't think I've had any side effects from 50mg, but worry that it means it's not really working.

I hope FF was right. We'll see in a few weeks I guess. I'm going for my next bloods on Thursday or Friday (depending on the day I can sneak out of work early). A week or so after that and I'll know.

Hope everyone's well.

I am very excited for you.

I don't have the answer about "weak" ovulation but being a late Oer myself it is something that has crossed my own mind.

I think the 7DPO Prog tests may shed some light, on a medicated cycle they will want to see a level of over 30, non medicated it's 15. Don't have a clue how they measure it though.

Siany might know because she has the 7DPO prog tests whilst on Clomid.

Still got AF cramps but no witch to be seen yet, I bet she will turn up in the dead of night just to P*ss me off!!! lol

Hi All,

My Prog level was 24 at 6DPO. Is that good or bad? The email from the fertility nurse was a bit cryptic and said "we will know more when your period arrives" ??? Ideas anyone...

So as I sat pondering that I had the urge to pee and guess who came visiting? AF arrived about 2pm now I am calling this CD1 so my LP was kinda short this cycle at 11 days! What do people think? Progesterone deffciency springs to my mind, will do some research with Dr Google later.

Good luck to both of you in DPO Land.

Weny x

Looks like the Alps in Fahrenheit!

For some reason I was really warm this morning. Hopefully it's a good sign and not a fluke. I do feel crampy though, and have been rather b*tchy to DH so I figure AF's on her way. Since I've no idea how long my luteal phase is, I'm crossing fingers that AF doesn't turn up before Friday (6dpo) and the next prog test.

Wendy,

I wish I could offer advice, but unfortunately, I know nothing. I'll ask for my prog. numbers when they come back to compare if you like. (I'm far from 'normal' (or that's what people keep telling me) so I can't imagine it'll be helpful, but it's something to know at least. Can't go about solving a problem if you don't know what it is.)

Hope AF doesn't stick around too long.

hugs!

A.

A Prog of 24 isn't that great then by the looks of it.

I have marked today as CD1 as yesterday it was more like brown spotting. Makes the chart look a bit nicer lol.

The funny thing is I feel ok today. Probably used to the dissapointment each month.

I am going to do a third cycle of Clomid then I am going to ake a break I think.

How are you both doing? Any symptons Siany? Canada?

Have a great day.

Wendy

Wendy, good luck with this next cycle. As much as it stinks that it didn't lead to a BFP, at least AF hasn't been delayed making you wait in limbo.

Siany, I hope that feeling unwell is a good sign. I'm only a few days post O and I already want to test, so I can understand your being anxious.

Sarah Jane hope AF shows up soon. Are you starting another cycle when it does?

I'm just waiting about for AF myself. Feeling crampy, b*tchy, tired and unmotivated to get up off the couch and do much of anything. Only a week and a day away from the term break, and I feel like I need one.

Hope everyone's doing well.

A.
