So, after mulling this over for about 2 years, yesterday I went for it and yes it hurt A LOT! I had all of the hair from my pubic area removed and it really is taking some getting used to! It looks so different to what I am used to and although I am not sure that I will continue having brazilians, I am glad that I tried it and now I know what it's like. Anyway, for anyone interested I just said that I would post this and because I am proud that I went through with it!! Well, have a good day everybody, (((HUGS)))
HEHEHE...funny replies!! Yes, I guess it was sort of funny of me anyway to go and tell you all. It wasn't as embarrassing as I thought and it was obvious that the estethician was very than used to it so she did not make me feel uncomfortable at all. I would definitely say to go for it to anyone who would like to try it out, but do look for a reputable salon and after you've tried it once, yes, it should get easier every time. I will see what I choose to do when I get used to it, but for now I am happy that I gave it a go at least. Believe me, I was so nervous about this but I don't regret it!!
It took me a long time to work up the courage to get it done too. I really didn't find it painfull sure some bits were oh that didn't tickle but it dosen't last long. I feel soo much cleaner with all the hair gone i love it!

Hayles, lol you are too funny!! The joys of pregnancy; hair, stretch marks, varicose veins, and the kitchen sink. I was on hospitalized bedrest while pg with my son, and of course no one in the world cared to mention the flaming road maps I had all over my stomach...It wasn't until my first day back home that I saw a full length mirror and just about buckled over in horror!
TMI, but my cousin actually gave herself quite a detailed waxing as her due date approached....well, needless to say she went into labour the very next day, lol.

Bumemr about the stretch marks I was already covered in em so it hasn't bothered me just that my skin looks liek it is the fat trap from kfc very oily!
anyho this has goten off track god luck to all getting it waxed! Hubby will love it too

Owie! I read an account by a gal on another board. Something about having the hair ripped out from bellybutton to tailbone does not appeal to me. Then she started mentioning about how she had to bend and spread her cheeks apart for the girl! Not a chance!
