I just wanted to add that lap is SO nice b/c very few incisions and the scars do go away quickly. I had 3 incisions and almost all are completely invisible now (I had lap last July).

Yay for small incisions And they pulled my cysts through the tiny incisions - amazing!

ashley - im sure we will both be fine. It's the not knowing what they will find that is getting to me. I mean, what if they dont find endo?? even though my gp/nurse said yes.

olivialeigh - thanks. You are so reassuring. glad your scars are clearing up well. Grea they could remove your cysts at the same time.

Thank you all.

Well for me I think I am scared that they will find nothing, and then just like for the past 10 years I will get ignored/treated like a hypochondriac when I am really suffering. Obviously I would prefer not to have anyhting wrong, but I would appreciate some sort of conclusion and to be told how to manage it. It's all tiring. My gynae is convinced I must have endo but said it is quite common that they can't see anything. However the pain I have had in specific areas for years makes me think surely they will see something! Who knows.

I was like this before my PCOS diagnosis too! Although that was less invasive...

The wonderful thing is knowing I have the support from you ladies and also having a wonderful fiance and family by my side. I am blessed. xx

ashley - we sound so familiar. ive been like it about 9 or so years, too. some answers would be great.

sc is great for support. My hubby/famioy are always really good about it, too.

Yes indeed, I just want to get on with my life without worrying or being stopped by pain issues etc. I hope the lap will be a turning point for both of us!!
