 First the "ruptured cyst" and now this - I am freaked out
So Tuesday night I had excruciating pain that led to ER visit and painkillers and antibiotics, because of what may or may not have been a ruptured cyst (all they could see on pelvic u/s was fluid where it's not supposed to be.) Then last night, as I am hacking and coughing at about 11 pm in bed, pain comes on again. this time I don't wake DH up - I just get up and take two Vicodin and go back to bed. Vicodin does very little for me and I get no sleep at all. Get up usual time feeling somewhat better (altho woozy and crampy) and walk the dogs. As I am walking I squeeze out of my vagina . . . a thing. There's no other way to describe it. It is not a clot, it's a hard greyish lump of membranes with what appears to be a tail (like a mini umbilical cord). It was about 3" long and 1" wide and I guess that explains the horrible cramping. But the problem is - what the hell was it? I was tested for pregnancy before starting BCPs again, and it came back negative. Plus it was too HARD to be anything like a miscarried fetus. But it was scary. My alien baby? Granted, the moment it came out the cramps stopped and aside from some achiness in the uterine area (and being totally sleep deprived), I feel ok. Should I be worried? |
