flax: i never took
spearmint: i did but don't feel it made too much of a difference
SAW PALMETTO: is the absolute best thing in the world for acne. I had major a major pizza face with CYSTIC acne everywhere and it has stopped it completely.

Hope this helps!

Dear Heart, Please tell me the brand you took and the dose and for how long before you saw a difference. Thanks for your input and help!! Also did it throw off anything like your libido, cycles, etc

My experience. I took hair nail and skin and then stopped and started just hair vitamins. MISTAKE! All the hair on my body started to grow. I'm going back to my hair nail and skin vitamins next month. I've began flaxseed oil capsules and have seen a drastic change for the betterin my skin as far as breakouts and my moods are a helluva lot better. My nails are growing with the flax but they aren't hard like when I was on my vitamins. I did see new growth with the hair nail and skin but with just the hair vitamins, I saw nothing.

Oh yeah and everyone knows that spearmint tea took away all signs of sex for me. I drank it everyday. Now I know nto to drink it all the time. I probably drink a 20 oz cup once a week and believe it or not, I think it's helping. Between the flax and that, I've noticed that the facial hair is growing but in a clearish blonde color.

blueindiangoddess: I take Swiss herbal Saw Palmetto capsules (contains saw palmetto berry powder inside of it). I generally take 2 a day (at separate times) which equals 100mg a day as each capsule was 500mg. As I said within a couple weeks I realized that I was no longer breaking out I've been taking it since January now and have only got 1 or 2 random zits which is such an improvement from before when I had up to 6 swollen and panful cystic ones on my face at a time. I tried to stop taking it at one point and right away I saw myself starting to break out again. I haven't noticed it affecting my libido at all, and my cycles always kind of vary so nothing too interesting to report in that aspect. I think any brand will do.

Hope this helps, and I hope you give it a shot because I was on Diane-35 and that took way longer to work and I ultimately feel this has been more effective. best wishes! Feel free to ask me anything else you need to know.

Smile Saw Palmetto

I started taking it in August and I have got my period every month like clockwork since, Before saw palmetto I only got my period once a year. I haven't had any side effects at all...It's the best thing I have ever taken.

Default flax

I have been taking the Flax seed powder 3 tabs for one week now, and i cant say I am crazy about the taste. The thing is you have to consume it very quickly once you put it in any kind of liquid, it'll expand and become like thick flour and soak up all the liquid. I put it in my cereal and got a muddy mess.

The best way is a smoothie or just mix with soy milk and chug. But in a week I do see my nails going from good to great! They shine like I put clear polish on them. Have to wait and see other benefits

Try put it in a bowl of porrideg (oatmeal) I hears this is suppose to be tasty as you still add milk (soy or regular).

I grind the flax seeds into a meal and add it to my yogurt. It is quite "hidden" that way. And doesn't seem to expand as much.
