Alright, I've been having this problem for a few months now.
My doctor started me on birth control around October 2005...the reason being was that I had a bad bleeding episode and we needed it to stop ASAP, as I was losing too much blood. I've stayed on them in order to keep that from happening again.
Here's the problem...when it comes time for my period I get sick. And I mean so sick that there are times I can't go anywhere. It's almost like a flu. At the beginning I get the sniffles, runny nose like a cold....migraines (but I have these anyway), sore body and i throw up. Almost every month since October I have had at least a day or two during my period where I have been vomiting and can't eat.
This all seems to so wierd to me, but it only happens during my period. I'm not sure if the combination of drugs, the BCP...I just don't know.
Anyone have anything similar happen to them?
It's just so bad because I almost have to go out of comission for the week...
What's worse is that we just moved and I've lost my wonderful doctor. And I'm having a heck of a time trying to find one in this new city that is taking patients.
I'm thinking maybe I should try a new birth control...or maybe try one of those ones where I only have to have a period 4 times a year?
This month is no different (just started AF yesterday)...I felt the sniffles yesterday and started a migraine last night...today my body is already starting to ache. It just makes no sense to me...
