Just curious, what dose are you going to be taking?

Remember to get your liver enzymes checked on schedule (seems to usually be every month for the first 3 or so, then every 3 months).

It's been an absolute miracle for my acne, although it did take a few months until my skin was clear. It also seems to be lowering my LDL cholesterol, which is nice. Unfortunately, it hasn't seemed to lessen my hair loss at all (and I've been on it nearly nine months now), which was the result I was most hoping for.

Hope you get some great results, and no pesky side effects!

Thumbs up Flutamide Experience

I have been on Flutamide (250mgs) for a year now. I am more than thrilled with the results. It stopped the hair loss cycles almost immediately. It took several months for the regrowth to happen.
I experienced a bit of nausea the first few days, nothing horrible.
I had Liver labs every four weeks for the first four months and then every three months.
My labs have been great. My lipid panel has improved, I have shorter cycles (28 days), my skin looks great and I can go on and on. I am just so happy that I have a wonderful Endocrinologist who was willing to put me on it.
I am his first patient to take Flutamide.
I still take a low dose of Spironolactone (50mgs), as they work differently on the Testosterone. HTH
