Default flutamide /spiro?

Hi Ladies,

I'm debating between flutamide/spiro...I'm not sure which of these would be better for hairloss and acne problem.

I've done alot of research on each, flutamide has been reported to be more usefull than spiro.
I have mild hirsutism too but that doesnt really bother me as much as my bcp induced hair loss.
Also I need sth to be strong enough to work on my severe acne.I'm taking Accutane for almost 10 years now.I just dont want to take 2 madications since tane is already a harmful drug.
my androgen levels are in a normal range although my dheas is on the higher end.total T and free T both low.

any wise word from anyone!

Thanks

I too would hope someone would weigh in on spiro for hair loss. Anyone?

I am on 100 mg of Spiro a day. I got bumped up from 25 mg a day which was doing nothing. I've been on it for about 4 months now - and I have had a good experience.
It definitely has decreased hair growth and helped with testosterone levels. Every now and then I used to have flare ups of cystic acne and folliculitis and these occurrences have pretty much gone away.
The only negatives I've had are that they increase urination (diuretic) so you have to time when you take it, and they also cause headaches for me a few times a week. Hope this helps and good luck to you.

did you also have good results for excess hair(if any).my facial peach fuzz are getting dark again.diane 35 and sawpalmetto where the only 2 things worked on the color.they all went back to blonde.
did you notice any change with spiro?

it is slowing the facial hair growth down a bit - but it did not really do much for lightening the darkness of the hair or making it finer. i actually just invested in laser hair removal and it has been a miracle! it really is working. best of luck to you.
