So I have 3 Folicals. One on the left that is 11mm(no Change from Wednesday) and 2 New ones on the right that are both 12mm. My Question is, What is the normal Size of a mature folical. When do you normally trigger? When you do trigger will it release all of the eggs at the same time? We're fine with the idea of multiples. just wondering lol. Thanks for the Adivce Thanks
Normal triggering size for me has been anywhere between 16-20. Usually one follicle will pull ahead and that will be the only one that releases, despite starting out with many at the same size.

When I was doing Clomid, I would have two follicles and usually, only one would release. I would trigger with Ovidrel when they were over 18mm. My RE likes to see 20mm. But at 18mm, they will still grow before Oing, so it's okay. This past cycle, I did injectables and had 4 follicles. All of them released, as was evident by my 7DPO luteal checkup. My ovaries were quiet, no cysts, no left over follicles. So I guess it depends on their maturity??

Claire, I don't know yet how many sacs there are. I'm guessing I'll find out in a few weeks. At the most, I expect twins. I don't know how I would handle being pregnant with quads...

My RE usually has me trigger when they are between 16 and 18. She says that they will usually grow another mm after the trigger and before they release.
