Anyone know of any articles out there regarding follicle size and success rates?
I just did a cycle of climid 200/cd 5-9, then my doc did a trigger shot at 4pm on day cd18 since I hadn't O'd yet on my own and I had 3 follicles, 33mm, 25mm and 16mm. Did my first IUI on cd20 at 10am and 2 follicles had shown to have ruptured.
Any thoughts on follicle size and success? I hate the 2ww!

So do you mind me asking how your IUI turned out? I just did FSH shots with an IUI on Sun Sept 13 at 9am and this wait is already killing me! lol I feel like the odds are in my favor but I have read that the success rate is only 26% at best...Eeek!
Well, that particular round was a bust. However, we did an IUI with two follies the begining of May after using injectables (clomid just never did it for me)...and TADA, I'm now 21 weeks pregnant with boy/girl twins! I posted all the details of what worked for me (because I used to comb this site for such stories), so if you're interested in all that you can find it...somewhere on this site!

Awwwwe, congrats! Thats sooo exciting! Its so comforting to hear of other successful fratility treatments! I think I will surf this site then to read all about your experience! I have to do something to keep myself occupied in the evenings after work or it makes this 2week wait feel like years lol!
I know they have to wait till there is one bigger than 18 mm for the trigger. It sounds like you had two much bigger than that. So hopefully two viable eggs.
