Unhappy follicles and estrogen info help

I am cd 13 - going for blood and ultrasound every other day since day 8, clomid 150mg 3-7, metformin 1000mg/day & prenatal vitamins - recent pcos.

I don't understand how my estrogen level is reducing. On day 8 it was 60, day 10 it was 54 and today (13) down to 52. My follicles are not progressing so great either. from day 8 to 10- they only went up like .2mm. and they are the same from 10-13 - no or little changes.

I'm starting my first cycle of IUI - I tried 3 cycles of clomid (2 100mg, 1 150mg). My partner also has low motility and a count just high enough for IUI.

I'm really frustrated . Yesterday I sat in the living room and cried - for no apparent reason. It seems that everyone around me is having or talking about kids.

Does anyone have any good news for me? What's going on with my estrogen? why is it reducing? is there anything that I can do to help?

also - is there any safe cold medicine that I can take? I have a wicked cold coming on.

oh yeah - and I ovulated last cycle sometime between day 30 and 36 - they were not monitoring with ultrasounds and blood work - only timed intercourse. AND I got my period naturally - the last few cycles were brought on by provera.

Thanks!
