Default Follistim and IVF help...

I am currently on Day 5 of stimming for IVF with 150 u's of Follistim. I've never done injectibles meds before and needless to say, my body LOVES the Gonadotropins. I have a ton of follicles, you can't even see my poor ovaries and my Estrogen level was 442. My RE said she'd like to see to see my E2 levels be anywhere from 150-300 right now, so she decreased my dose to 100 u's and now I have to go back everyday to prevent OHSS. Knowing this, I had a question for any of you that have stimmed with Follistim. I am having headaches everyday. They're minor, just dull and easily managed with Tylenol. I also feel really tired, I just want to be in bed all day. And at times I feel hungry like I want to eat and then when I get the meal in front of me it grosses me out and I only end up eating 1/4 of it. Am I odd or is this completely normal? Also, I keep having these horrible thoughts that this cycle is going to end with OHSS. My RE seems to think that this is completely normal and will be a good cycle, but I'm afraid that it won't or will decrease my chances. I'm guessing it's way too soon to tell and that I'm overreacting, but has anyone else gone through this IVF or Follistim?

Default The same thing happened to me

I was on the same amount of Follistim and my body just loved it. It ended up being a good thing. I ended up dropping about 20 eggs and 17 fertalized so we got 5 IVF cycles out of one ovulation stimulation. Unfortunatly we still don't have a baby but we have had a couple miscarriages that we later found out that I not only have PCOS but also MTHFR a blood disorder that causes miscarriages so now when we attemp our sixth IVF I will have to be on blood thinners. We are planning on doing the whole process over again late next month, I am hoping that I have that many follicals again. I did feel horrible I do remember, my doctor even made me stop running it will be worth it in the long run. And get ready for more injections!!
