I just had another consulation today with my doctor. Clomid nor metformin worked for me, so she suggested follistim and then if that doesn't work, to try IVF. She told me the success rates of IVF are much higher than follistim, so I'm wondering why she suggested follistim before IVF. She also said that with follistim, there is a much higher risk of multiples. Has anyone had any luck with either?

I'm not sure if she'll see this, but I know Mrsmuelly had success with follistim... check out the thread on thin expecting cysters. She might be more likely to see your post there. (or you could even search her old posts to read about her journey)
