i have been where you are but for me i did not get RPL testing until my 3rd loss. I have PCOS and also just found out today i have MTHFR. This test is not normailly done by all OB"S because there is not alot known about it. But it does cause early pg loss. Ask to make sure when tests they ran on you.Are u on any meds like metformin or anything? i will answer any questions that i can. or help you find the answers. but i refused to listen when they told me" WE may never know why" cuz that is simply not good enuf. i am sorry for your losses and am sending much baby dust your way

Thanks for posting this. I just suffered my 2nd m/c as well and had D&C last week. I go in 2 weeks for a f/u appt. My dh was told prior to my procedure that most insurance companies won't cover RPL testing until 3 m/c. He was going to do some testing in house to see what he could find, though he keeps telling me it was genetic as well.
It just sucks. I hope we both find answers so we don't have to go through this again.
Good luck.

M/C 3/08, 4/09, 11/09 But these things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, be patient! For it will surely take place. It will not be late by a single day.
So sorry for your losses, Lisa. My first pregnancy was successful, and since TTC #2 I've had 3 m/c and have been searching for answers. I've had repeat pregnancy loss testing, a lap/hysterosopy and so far nothing has been found. I'm currently retrieving my medical records and going for a second opinion with an RE that was recommended to me by some ladies on a repeat loss board. I'm hoping to find out if I really have been tested for everything or if some things were skipped (like a previous poster mentioned MTHFR, I'm not sure if that is always included in standard testing.) Good luck to you, I hope we both are able to get some answers. Not knowing is the worst part.
I'm very sorry for your loss. I just had my second loss and they decided to start doing RPL testing. I'm surprised they are making you wait to start TTC unless thats a personal decision too. After my first loss they did the genetic testing during the D&C which was never conclusive. After this loss they started all the blood work for RPL and hopefully they will find something out. Despite what the MD is testing for, for prevention I have a few herbal supplements to take that my MD didn't see an issue with and am taking 81mg of aspirin/day. Best of luck!
