Mainly we just melt caramels with dairy and chocolate chips in 2 fondue pots and dip cut up fruits, angel food cake, and cookies and roll it in nuts. I know there are loads of recipes for cheeses and one with oil that you cook steak in but we havent tried those before.
Have fun They are a great party food as everyone can munch around the table together.
We also have made taco dips in them.

Ok, this is totally not healthy, but my grandma has been making this for years. Melt a stick of butter in the pot. Add a can of drained flaked crab and Cheez Whiz (see, not healthy). Stir it until it's nice and smooth. Serve with cubes of French bread. Yum!!
Mmm, chocolate fondue...April, that is sooo good.

That does sound good! Mine arent healthy either! Are fondue foods healthy really lol? Any kind of a warm dip is great in them too and just keep it on low.
I love dipping apples ( dip them in lemon juice first to keep from browning) in chocolate letting it sit then dipping in caramel and rolling it in nuts. Chocolate covered strawberries and bananas are good too. My sister loves ritz crackers with peanut butter in the middle of them and dipped in chocolate. If you cant tell we love sweets lol!
