Red face food poisoning anyone?

Woke up in the middle of the night last night with the grips!! Major cramping, I thought I was gonna hurl out both ends. I ate a steak from a restaurant here, never had a problem before lol, what do ya do when it wants to come up via mouth and at the same time out the end? *quivers* I guess just hold onto the porcelain tub tight and don't let go! LOL
Arghhhh nausea suks:p Does Pepto help nausea? I only have taken it once in my entire life.

Unhappy I know how you feel

I've had one of those nights before. The best advice I can give is to sit on the potty and hold a LINED trash basket in your arms. That way any simultaneous "explosions" are taken care of without any worry.

I don't know if Pepto helps nausea; the only things that helps my nausea is blarfing.

Hope you feel better!

I only remember being that sick once, I was in college.

I came home beacuse I felt sick, my mom took me to the drug store to get an antibiotic for a sore throat.

On the way home she had to stop the car for me to heave on the side of the road.

For the rest of the day I was sitting on the toilet with a bucket at my feet, it was misery. I lost nearly 10 pounds....

ugh, sometimes that isn't even enough!

glad you're feeling better!

I don't know if I had a 24 hour flu or if it was food poisoning, but I once spent an entire day puking and fearing expulsion from other areas while on a nice tropical vacation with my boyfriend. Seven days got dwindled down to 6 since I spent that entire day in front of the toilet.

Julie, hear ya, sometimes that isn't enough just to 'look' at the food, temp is important too lol--and we all gotta be sure never to tick someone off at the drive thru either huh?! lol
Thanks Julie Your experience could have been the water.... sorry you had it too-especially on a nice tropical vacation!

hehe, that's ok. Even though I was sick, I got a lot of sympathy pampering that day.

it might have been the water, though I'm always really careful. I thought it was the result of one too many drinks the night before...but looking back I don't think it was that either.

I'm heading back there (by myself) again in a couple of weeks - finger's crossed I don't get sick again!
