Wink Foods to avoid

Hello! I was wondering if anyone can direct me to the forums where it will tell me what foods to avoid other than the typical carbs and sugar? I need a specific list, if that exists . Thanks ladies... you are all wonderful!

You can check out different GI values of foods here: http://www.glycemicindex.com/

The higher the GI value the worse it is for blood sugar and weight loss.

I avoid white flours, potatoes, soy & refined sugar.

I am new so I appologize for any ignorance before I start.

I wasn't aware that soy was bad. I am slightly lactose intolerant and have been using soy instead. I really dislike lactaid too.

Soy can act as estrogen in our bodies. Since PCOS usually means messed up hormones, adding in another hormone IMO can be a bad thing. Some women with PCOS take soy as a treament for PCOS, I avoid it on the whole.

I knew about the estrogen, but I never but two and two together. Thank you for answering my question. I am still new to all this, and I appreciate it very much. I will talk to my doctor about when I see him in a few weeks.
