Foods to Avoid / Foods to Seek Out As the title says really, I've been reading different things about what to eat and what nto to eat when you have PCOS. I'm thoroughly confused now and don't know what to do for the best.
I used to be 8.2 stone at 16, then by 18 was 10.5, then it crept up slowly. I'm currently around 12.5 stone, though recently have been almost 13 and down to 12, my weight can flucutate as much as half a stone each day (I weight myself every morning) and I know I need to lose weight. I've switched to wholemeal bread, wholemeal spaghetti when do spag bol, and things like that. But I think I read recently that you're not supposed to have it cos of insulin or something.
Does anyone have any answers? I don't want to end up with nothing I can/dare to eat. Every day and the more I read about this condition and what it makes me prone too, the more depressing it is.
Also, I do walk about an hour each day (to uni and back) and take several flights of stairs to lectures instead of the lift, my legs are muscly, but then I always have been strong, and I'm muscly under the fat, but I don't know how much of the weight that influences.
Hope someone can help!
