HELP! We're trying to do a Superbowl theme for Sunday - hubby's invited a coworker, his wife and his son over for the game.
We have food from Chicago down - deep dish pizza (which they're bringing), hotdogs, etc.
But what foods have anything to do with Indianapolis?

Thanks! That gives me someplace to start - fried anything sounds good to me!

Would it still be traditional if I flavored the popcorn?

Another thing Indy is famous for is Shrimp Cocktail. We are land locked, but a century old restaurant brings in celebrities regularly for their version. There was a recent emergency plane landing by a sports guy who bought a dozen orders and took them to the Cincy Bengals game!!
I'm not a seafood person, but it's the sauce they love -spicy.
Sorry I couldn't help more! I'm sure your party will be fantastic!
