I was always very slim but with belly fat that I used to obsess over.

After two years of trying my husband I managed to conceive naturally and had a healthy baby boy. However, he was a big 10 lb baby and my stomach got totally stretched. He's over a year old now and I still have extra skin and a permanent "outy" belly button when it used to be really nice I also developed separated abdominal muscles so my abdomen bulges. That has improved over time but early on people would ask me if I was pregnant again!

It took me a while to get over the changes to my body but I have. I know I will never look "perfect" and that is so liberating instead of obsessing over a little bit of fat. I would happily have my old body back! Even though I had a little bit of belly fat I had really good abs. I like a little tummy on women now, I think it's really feminine. It's not until I lost my body that I realised what I had before.

Even though I don't look like I used to I love my body so much more for growing my baby and producing milk for him.

I say eat what you need to to be healthy, forget about the rest and be grateful for what you have
