I use whey protein powder - I usually have a shake for breakfast because it's quick and easy - I use either vanilla protein powder with some water; red grapefruit; flaxseed oil and some pysllium husks for added fibre or chocolate protein powder, psyllium, water and some frozen winter berries (tastes just like black forest gateau)

Wow! Great info! Thanks for posting.

I have some chocolate whey powder. I hadn't thought to mix in berries. I'll have to give it a try!

I agree. I've had a lot more sucess by focusing on what I can eat and what is GOOD for me to put in my body than by dwelling on the things I shouldn't have. After whey protein powder, salmon, veggies, nuts, fruits - there's a lot less room for processed junk, but if those cravings do hit, at least you know you've already had a good bit of nutrition for the day!

Also, I have to second the post about the Sugar Free Red Bull. I used to think that they were bad for me, even the sugar free ones, and maybe they are in terms of sodium, but I've definitly noticed a reduction in my hunger when I have one in the afternoon! Oh, and they are much less expensive in bulk at Sams or BJ's.

I am totally shocked that the sugar free red bull is actually GOOD for PCOS. I never would have thought! This is great news for me...considering I am a college student and absolutely LOVE red bull...even the sugar free kind. I do, however, wish it was as cheap as black coffee...

Thanks for this great list, Maddy! I am tired of seeing lists of things I CAN'T eat or SHOULDN'T eat. These lists are great and inspiring me to eat healthier.
