Me and DH dont have a lot of extra money; but we have a lot of love. Do we need to have a lot of extra money for foster care? To be honest we dont usually have a excess of money at the end of the month and we rent.
Is this a problem?

I think as long as you can provide for a child/children it is ok. Renting is not an issue.

you get paid for being a foster parent. its not much...about $18 a day. plus you get quarterly clothing money, as well as small amoounts at b-days and xmas.
