 found something that works for my acne
I have pretty severe acne which was not helped by minocycline ( or differin or retin A creams), in fact I had all the side effects on minocycline and had to discontinue it. I was desperate and started searching the internet, I found acne.org which is a great site dedicated to just acne. The guy who runs it says benzoyl peroxide works, but people don't use enough of it. I had used it before too, but I did not use as much as he says to use. He recommends a ton 2x a day and nothing else but gentle cleansing. I started his regimen and it has taken 2 months but I am finally starting to clear, people with less severe cases often see clearing sooner, but I had serious acne. My derm says it takes 2 to 3 months of doing something to see if it works and this did take 2 months. Hope this helps someone.
