ok so yesterday i managed to fracture my wrist and had to get xrays now i am concerned because my cycle is so messed up not too sure when i really did ovulate i am sure the tech asked me if there was any chance i was pregnant but i was in so much pain i don't remember what i said they didn't do a test but what if i am how bad is it going to be that i had the xrays? i wore the lead apron but still concerned
call your doc and ask BUT last time i had an x-ray .. they asked if i was pg and i jokingly said, not sure. and the doc was like .. oh it doesn't hugely matter anyway, these days x-rays are so low it really doesn't hurt anything. also if you were x-raying your wrist and not your abdomen, for instance -- i really doubt u have anything to worry about. ask if it will make u feel better but in the mean time, try not to freak out about it i think you'll be ok

I wouldn't worry too much. One x-ray is not enough to really harm a baby. Back in the day (70's and earlier) they used to take x-rays of women to confirm pregnancy. That's how my mom found out she was having twins. Now we know better, but as I said one exposure will not be too harmful.
