I was going to say I have never heard of french lilac but have heard Met is derived from goat's rue - but I googled and they seem to be the same thing. Interesting.
I took goat's rue for a bit after I had my girls. It is a galactologue (sp - helps milk production) - and is thought to be especially helpful with bringing in milk in women with PCOS.
There are also women who say met helped their milk production, which makes sense.
It has helped with weight loss for at least one mom with PCOS...

I can't say it did much for me and it's kind of pricey as supplements go but it wouldn't hurt to try it. I never did figure out if any company besides motherlove put it out - there might be lower priced versions of what I took.
I think one concern I might have is, if you are upping your milk production, you are then probably upping your prolactin production, which would bring about menstrual issues of another sort. I don't know if you would want a lower dose than is used for breastfeeding, or if met has been altered in some way to have less milk - producing abilities... I don't know. But it might be a consideration.
If you try it and get the motherlove brand - get the capsules. The tintures are FOUL... though I hear the alcohol free ones aren't as bad. I was taking the more milk plus tincture, too - it was horrendous.
