My Mood: Points: 2,345.99 Bank: 426.72 Total Points: 2,772.71 | Friend needs help, don't know where to start! I'm wondering if anyone in here can help me to help a girl I know with some info on recurrent m/c's.
She has had testing done (after her 4th m/c) and they can't find any reason as to why she is having problems keeping a pg. The only thing that came up was that her folate levels were low, so they have upped her dosage. Neither of them carry the MTHFR related gene problems.
The problem is, the pregnancies fail and hang around for weeks before her body realises it and then she has some bleeding, goes for an u/s and finds out that the baby has been dead for weeks.
Does anyone have any advice that I can give her? Are her dr's missing something? I would love to try and help her but have no idea where to start looking or what to search for exactly. The only losses that I have had have been chem pg's (2 now) so haven't had to go through anything like this.
Any help would be so greatly appreciated ladies!
Mandi

I can't remember what sort of testing that they have done so far (all I know is that they took ALOT of blood tests). Will find out next time I speak to her.
Thank you for those links! That will definitely keep me busy for a while |

I still have a bruise on my arm, and little "nicks" where various needles have been used to draw blood over the past 3 weeks. Ugh.
Next Tuesday I'm having a hysteroscopy done - has your friend had any of that type of procedures done?
