I am looking for a friendly PCOS doctor in Louisiana for my 21 year old daughter. She is really having a bad time with her hair falling out. Her current doctors is not compassionate at all. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I see Dr. Peek at Woman's Hospital; she diagnosed me. Not sure how she is with tough cases, as mine is pretty open-and-shut, but you might try her.

I go to Dr. Hope Ruhe and love her. She is very understanding and willing to research. She diagnosed me years ago and started me on glucophage before it was common practice. A fertility clinic may know more dr. names that deal with major cases of PCOS. I have heard good things about Dr. Perrett and Dr Wild both in N.O. but I don't know how they are with a PCOS diagnosis.
