Anyone know of any place like freegaragesale.com where you can buy or sell Clomid? I don't go back to the RE till next month, and he won't refill my clomid till I see him.....kinda desperate!

I'm new to this board, but have been a member of another discussion group for a year and a half. So here are my thoughts.....if you bought the meds and you didn't use, or open, them, then do what you want with them. Sell, donate, give away, they are yours. And, if they have the protective seals still, what is the difference? As long as the person you know was prescribed the same exact things, save them the money. Make a quick $20 and go out to lunch. We all know how expensive and stressful all of this is. At this point, it is your decision. The drug companies are making enough money off of me!

just wanted to let everyone know that i talked to my doctor and it is not illegal to use someone elses medications to save money as long as it is exactly what was perscribed to you and the are not outdated.

I was given insturctions from my RE if i had any unopened fertility meds left that i could sell them or give them away as long as the prescription was in my name and they are not a controlled substance!!

My dr said the same thing that if they are sealed & not expired and the person recieving the meds has the script that its ok, because its not a narcotic or controlled substance. As far as donating meds to your Dr's office, it depends on the meds and the Dr. I've had a Dr's office buy back medications from my grandfather. He used to take the lidocaine pain patch and he became allergic to it, so they actually bought back his RX. A lot of times they won't take them back, since they have been opened, but his where sealed individually. But again it depends on the state probably too.

hi all,
i am new to the board and just wanted to say thanks to you all. I have found out alot of new info. on this board and all of which is very useful. I feel so welcomed and elated to know that there are others whom are similiar to me. TTC with pcos is not easy for all but I am glad to know we (those with pcos) have a such board where we can all come a share with one another...

I'm IL (don't know if the laws vary according to state) and I know my RE's office has a program for those without insurance where they can get free meds from donations from other patients.

I am pretty sure that the selling of medications prescribed solely to YOU is illegal. I don't know how you would go about "exchanging" Rx's with someone who has the prescription, but can't afford the pills, but for any of those out there who are thinking of doing so without proof that the person you are "doing business with" is supposed to be taking the Rx, please consider that we don't always know what other medications someone is on and how they will interact with each other. I was prescribed a medication a few months ago to treat my thyroid disorder and had no idea that it could react fatally with another pill I was taking for PCOS. my doctor even missed that one, it was actually my pharmacist who saved me from a possible heart attack. Had someone else just said "oh, here, use mine" before I went to the pharmacy, I could have been in serious trouble.
Please, leave it to a doctor to prescribe Rx's, even if you have the same exact symptoms and you know this medicine would help a friend, it isn't worth it if you don't know their medical history.
as long as it is the same script then i think one should b ok..same medicine and dosage
