Default Frustrated

Just wanted to vent and I know you guys can relate...

It's now been just over 8 weeks since my m/c in July. I am still waiting for AF...I've been spotting very very lightly since Saturday...Like only tained on the TP. Why won't AF just come already? I am hesitant to call the doctor and ask for provera...I wanted so much for my body to kick back in and go back to normal. I've been eating good and working out, I really thought it would work....Shouldn't I have gotten it by now? How long does it usually take? I never knew with the first 2 m/c's because I was still undiagnosed with PCOS and my cycles were really messed up and I never got it on my own. I've been getting AF on my own and on time for a year or so....
Just frustrated and tired of waiting. I need closure.

Oh, sweetie, I'm sorry this is taking so long. I haven't had an early loss, but 8 weeks seems like a long time to wait. Somebody will pipe in with more info soon, but I think I'd go with the Provera, just so the waiting could end. ((hugs)),

I'm sorry it's taking so long to get back on track! I think it can take this long and still be considered normal, depending on how much hcg you started out with and needed to eliminate. Your body is trying to do something. Any chance this is ovulation? Is your discharge slick? It could be major pms and just about to be AF. I just hope something happens soon. If it is driving you nuts, call the doc. But I think it can be considered normal to take a few months to have regular cycles again.

It took me For. Ever. to get AF again after I lost Gabriel. In fact, she didn't show up until after I had a D&C and after I went on yasmin. I've been "regular" since then, even a few months after going off yasmin, but I've had annovulatory cycles (some long ones).

You should talk to your doc if it goes on much longer, even just for your own sanity.
