 frustrated
hello...I'm relatively new to this board and am still trying to figure out if I actually have PCOS. my gyne recently ran labs on me b/c I hadn't had a period in two months. she had diagnosed me with PCOS a few years ago. but based on my recent labs, she's sending me to a reproductive endo to rule out other stuff. my testosterone levels are very high (101) and i'm having problems with lactation (aka galactorrhea) but I have never been pregnant. I'm very frustrated b/c I don't know what is wrong, except that my hormones have been way out of wack for several years. I went off bcp almost a year ago, b/c I didn't feel that they were making any difference, as I was still missing periods. so I'm hoping that the endo helps is able to give a more solid diagnosis. I just wanted to say that I'm really excited I found this website as it helps to know that there are so many women who deal with these frustrations, although I'm sure we'd all rather not have to worry about this stuff! |
