 Frustrated.. mamm & ultrsound were no help
ok, in a nutshell: I found a lump in my left breast in june, the doctor felt it sent me for an ultrasound,(which revealed absolutely nothing there) and said everything was fine. I've had persistent pain and went back for my 6 week check up last week and the "mass" is still palpable and painful, so she sent me for a mammogram, which I had this morning (ouch, I'm only 20 and haven't had one before), and also revealed nothing there! How does a lump felt by 2 Dr.'s, the ultrasound tech, the mammogram tech, myself and mother not show up on any tests????
What am I supposed to do now? I sense that something is wrong, should I go to a surgeon? My dr has to call me with the report still, even though the dr at the imaging place told me the results, but what other options do I have. It sounds sick but I'm frustrated that it didn't show up since we all can feel it! |
